Version-matrix console · DaVinci Resolve

One master, many endings.
Every delivery version out.

Cross your cuts × endings × aspect ratios into named DaVinci Resolve timelines (FCP7 XML). Re-import, relink, and render in Resolve — your footage never uploads.

01 / Master timelines
one master per cut you edited — nothing is auto-trimmed
+
Drop master timeline(s), or click to browse
Resolve → right-click your timeline → Export → AAF, XML… → “Final Cut Pro 7 XML”. One master is enough; drop several cuts (30s / 15s / 6s) for a set.
02 / Endings  ·  the matrix core
each ending swaps the tail of your cut — 1 master × N endings → N versions
Drop your endings / end cards
Endings never upload — Recutly reads only each file’s name + length here, then Resolve relinks them by name on import.
No endings added → versions keep each master’s original ending (you can still split by ratio).
03 / Aspect ratios — optional
sets the canvas only, no crop — reframe in Resolve (Smart Reframe, Studio only)

04 / Version queue_{ratio}.xml

Load a master timeline to build the queue.

Output = a ZIP of 0 Resolve timelines (.xml) + a delivery checklist — not rendered video. You import them into Resolve and render to deliver. Sign in to build. Free plan: up to 5 versions per export.
